Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
These terms cover the use of software published by Byteglen and purchases made through our site. Byteglen is the trading name of a sole trader registered in Spain. Contact: hello@byteglen.com.
The products
Byteglen makes browser extensions. They are premade, self-contained software products. We do not sell services, consultations or custom work. The free version of each extension is available from the official browser stores. Paid features are unlocked with a license key purchased through our checkout.
Purchases and delivery
Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, acting as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles the transaction, invoicing and applicable taxes, and its own terms apply to the payment itself. Delivery is immediate: your license key is shown after checkout and emailed to you. Entering the key in the extension unlocks the paid features on that device.
License
A license key is a personal license for one person. You may use it in the browsers you personally use, at home or at work. You may not resell, share or publish a license key. We may revoke keys that are resold, leaked or obtained fraudulently.
Your data
Our extensions store your data locally on your device. We have no servers and no access to it. See each product's privacy policy, for example the LaterVault privacy policy. Keeping backups of exported data is your responsibility; the tools to export are built in and free.
Refunds
See the refund policy. In short: fourteen days, no questions asked.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect damages or lost data to the extent the law allows such limits. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer, including under EU consumer protection law.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protections of the consumer law of the country you live in.
